growing the next generation - programs for educators & students

The EDge pilot is a free 9-day program for your new employees to test their skills in solving a challenging problem faced by Ganong Brothers Ltd. It is designed as a pilot for a similar 12-week program that will run next summer.

The program will start with a 1-day accelerator, followed by a 7-day challenge. Participants will be organized into two teams of four and will compete to come up with a solution to a current company issue. On the final day, teams will present their solutions to Ganong’s representatives and a winning solution will be chosen.

Case Studies
Over 3 years, WMI produced cases on Maritime companies for use in university and high school classrooms.  These are available for free but we ask that you register so we can track their usage.

E3 (Excellence in Entrepreneurial Education)
E3 is a peer group program in partnership with the Gaia Project for educators who facilitate the experiential education that fosters the skills our entrepreneurs are demanding from our younger generation as they enter the workplace. Our goal with this program is to foster strong and long-term communication among this group of educators so they can work together to face and solve common problems, as well as share ideas to grow this method of teaching within a traditional model.

The group's mission is to pioneer a movement in public education where experiential learning develops empowered citizens.
