Peter joined Growthworks in 2006 as Regional Investment Manager based in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Peter brings to Growthworks 13 years of experience in corporate development, transaction execution and business planning with various companies in the United States and Canada. He currently serves on the board of several Growthworks portfolio companies including Virtual Expert Clinics Inc. and Nanoptix Inc.

Prior to joining Growthworks, Peter was Vice President Finance and Corporate Development for Barrett Xplore, Inc. (BXI), Canada’s largest wireless broadband Internet service provider.  There he was responsible for financial planning, financings, corporate development and shareholder communications activities. His career is also informed by his experience with TeleTech Holdings, Inc., a NASDAQ-listed, global leader in outsourced customer management services, where he held the position of  Vice President, Corporate Development.

Peter served as Vice President of Corporate Development and Treasury with Covad Communications, Inc., the largest independent DSL service provider in the United States, and as Director Financial Planning and Analysis with TCI Communications, Inc (now Comcast Communications).

Peter received his Bachelor of Arts (Economics) from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire in 1993. He is a Member of the Board of the Fredericton Playhouse, a non-profit performing arts venue, and the Fredericton Community Foundation.
