Kevin Malone Former Clerk of the Executive Committee and Secretary to Cabinet, Province of NB Fredericton, New Brunswick

Kevin entered the New Brunswick public service in 1975 and over the course of 30 years worked in many areas including social policy development, business development, human resource management, intergovernmental relations and aboriginal affairs. He served five Premiers in New Brunswick and one in the Province of Northern Cape, South Africa. He concluded his public service career in 2005 as Clerk of the Executive Council and Secretary to Cabinet.

He holds an undergraduate degree (Honours) from the University of New Brunswick and a Master of Arts degree (Political Studies) from Queen`s University in Kingston.

Kevin has a consulting practice specializing in public policy and public sector leadership development. His clients include federal and provincial departments and agencies as well as national not-for-profit groups. He is a Fellow with the Canada School of Public Service as well as a Fellow with the Wallace McCain Institute for Business Leadership.

Aside from his consulting work, Kevin gives considerable volunteer time to the affairs of the Fredericton Playhouse, Debut Atlantic and the Institute of Public Administration of Canada (IPAC). He is the Chair of the Organizing Committee for the 2009 Annual IPAC Conference to be held in Fredericton.

Kevin is married and has two adult children.
