James Pickard, P.Eng. has over 21 years of executive management and project management experience in a diverse range of industries including IT, aerospace & defence, engineering, manufacturing, and consulting.
His entrepreneurial roots go back to childhood where he delivered newspapers, mowed lawns, and shovelled snow covered driveways. He has since owned, or co-owned, businesses in engineering consulting, plastic manufacturing, and for the past 8 years, management consulting. Jim has experienced and understands the issues critical to running a small/medium sized business.

Jim founded InPro Solutions in 2003 to help companies in the Atlantic Region achieve and maintain competitive advantage. With the support of a network of Associates, the company offers a suite of consulting services from its Strategic (strategic planning, business planning, market strategies, industry analysis) and Operational (management systems, project management, quality management) Portfolios. Jim continues to act in the capacity of Principle Consultant.

His analytical skills, strategic vision, and operational acumen have helped many companies to thrive and prosper in their respective markets. He is a trained ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems Lead Auditor, and has helped companies design and successfully implement THEIR management systems to various standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, CMMI, and others. He regularly teaches/instructs and has successfully delivered numerous custom designed seminars, workshops, and instructor-led courses.
