Françoise has been a Faculty Member at Queen’s University’s prestigious Industrial Relations Centre since 1994, and was made a Fellow in 2006.  She has played a key role in developing the new OD Certificates, intended for practitioners. She is also an Associate at the Centre for Leadership Studies at the University of Guelph.

As a bilingual Human Resource Consultant, Françoise is a major contributor to the field of Organizational Development. Her consulting practice takes her across Canada and internationally. For instance, she has been involved in projects in Europe and North America. Françoise offers services that enhance the performance of organizations, teams and individuals. Her main area of expertise is Leadership Development. Through a variety of interventions, Françoise helps leaders to increase their effectiveness and organizations to enhance their leadership capacity.

CREDENTIALS

She holds an undergraduate degree in Human Sciences (major Psychology) from the University of Ottawa and a Masters’ in Adult Education from l’Université de Montréal.

In 2000, she completed a post-graduate certificate in Coaching from The Coaches Training Institute located in San Rafael, California and is now accredited as a Professional Certified Coach by the International Coach Federation (ICF).

WRITING

With HR expert Amal Henein, CHRP, she has written Made in Canada Leadership, published by John Wiley and Sons, Canada in May 2007. The book is the product of a large research on best practices on leadership development: 295 exceptional leaders from all sectors of the economy and 66 leadership development professionals were interviewed to find the answers to the following questions

  1. What are the best ways to develop competent leaders?
  2. How to ensure a reliable supply of capable leaders for the country?
  3. How to strengthen Canadian Leadership?
The book went into reprint in October 2007 and the French version Leadership: Sagesse, Pratique, Développement is now available.
