Marc Poirier President Timberparts Ltd & Globus Properties Sussex, NB

10 years ago Marc Poirier decided that he was going to put aside his biology degree and focus on a passion for business.  Having an ancestry that had spent their lives harvesting timber gave him an idea and a head start into the market. Today, Timberparts provides parts and components to the forestry and mining sectors all over the world.  

Marc is also the president of Globus Properties. Globus Properties owns and maintains commercial properties all over eastern Canada.

In 2010 Marc was selected as one of the top 15 entrepreneurial leaders in Atlantic Canada and participated in an intense entrepreneurial program hosted by the Wallace McCain institute at UNB. He continues to be involved with the WMI by being a member of one of their peer groups as well as being a member of their Management Committee since July of 2011.
