Barry G. Bisson was appointed President of Shad International in January, 2005.  Barry provides the leadership behind a 27 year old program that challenges Canada’s highest-achieving youth to realize and deliver on their full potential.

Additionally, he is an adjunct Professor in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Waterloo and teaches a course (Entrepreneurial Finance) to graduate students in the Masters of Business Entrepreneurship Technology Program.

Before joining Shad, Barry was a Professor in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of New Brunswick. He held the Dr. J. Herbert Smith/ACOA Chair in Technology Management and Entrepreneurship.  This program was established in 1988 to address the need for business and entrepreneurship education for engineers and others with an interest and/or background in technology.

Barry holds BSc and MSc degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of New Brunswick and an MBA from Harvard University.
